Affordable Access to Recreation and Transit
Need help with fees for recreation and transit?
The Affordable Access Pilot for Recreation and Transit provides eligible applicants with a credit for City of Thunder Bay recreation programs and Transit passes at a reduced cost.
General Eligibility
- You live in the City of Thunder Bay
- Have income at or below income limits (Low Income Cut Off numbers after tax)
- Age category of 18+ for Recreation credit, and 25-59 for transit pass)

Recreation & Culture Credit
- If approved, a $350 credit is placed on your Perfect Mind account (non-refundable)
- Eligible programs: Admission to City of Thunder Bay recreation facilities, coupons, paid in full memberships, facility rentals and
recreational programming - Ineligible programs: programs eligible for PRO Kids support, programs not purchased through Perfect Mind registration system
(eg. drop-in programs, food/drink items) and gift certificates.
