Trowbridge Falls Camping
Trowbridge Falls Campground is nestled in the whispering woods beside the cascading rapids of the Current River. Enjoy the park’s extensive hiking and mountain biking trails, wading and river swimming spots, and new playground – with city amenities just a short drive away.

Chippewa Park Amusement Rides
Enjoy a day of family fun just a short drive from the city! Anchored by its historic carousel, Chippewa Park features a number of amusement rides for kids and the young at heart. The pavilion concession offers a wide variety of food and beverages, including ice cream on hot days.
Round out your visit with a stop at the park’s two beaches, playground, and history exhibit, or explore walking paths with stunning views of the Sleeping Giant.
