Travel back in time to Fort William in the 1800s, explore the historic Kaministiquia River by canoe, discover local plants and animals, visit the Anishinaabe Encampment, and more! Young Interpreter Program
Become a historic Fort William character from 1815! Learn in-depth skills for interpreting history, crafting various artisan items, interacting with visitors, and many more valuable skills. An assigned Fort William mentor will support you during this experiential journey.

Garden & Animal Adventures
Find out what it takes to run Fort William’s farm and garden! Learn how to care for the animals to keep them healthy and happy and try your hand at growing vegetables and herbs!

Living in the Fur Trade
Live a slice of history! Learn to live in the fur trade alongside Fort William’s inhabitants. Discover French, Scottish and Anishinaabe cultures and lifestyles.

Skills of the Fur Trade
Delve deeper into the fur trade as you begin to learn more advanced skills around the Fort. Start to learn a trade, cook a historic dish and other era cultural skills.
