PRO Kids' Family Pool Party
Make a splash at the PRO Kids’ Family Pool Party presented by Viterra!
For only $2 a person you can join us on Saturday June 22 at the Canada Games Complex from 1pm-4pm.
Here is some of what we have planned:
- FREE BBQ with Hot Dogs, Snacks, and Refreshments
- In Pool Games including Volleyball and Aqua Zumba
- Pool Deck activities including Jumbo Jenga and Cornhole
- Demonstration and fun with Thunder Bay Dive Club
Funds raised will help local kids access sport and recreation when families are unable to afford the fees!
It’s going to be an afternoon filled with swimming, music, and family fun!
Kite Festival
Kite Festival is back this year and taking place at Chippewa Park!
We can’t wait for you to join us for this FREE event, June 9 from 11:00am – 3:00pm!
Canada Day on the Waterfront
Canada Day on the Waterfront is an opportunity to come together and celebrate our culturally diverse community. Join us at Marina Park for an afternoon of music, dance, arts, crafts, games, food, and more.
We continue to commit to the re-envisioning of Canada Day on the Waterfront, to reflect and recognize that Canada Day means something different to everyone, and to move forward in an inclusive, thoughtful, and meaningful way.
Be sure to join us for this free event on July 1, from 1:00pm – 6:00pm at Marina Park!
Teddy Bears Picnic
The Teddy Bears Picnic is a beloved annual event that brings joy to children and their furry friends! This event takes place in one of Thunder Bay’s oldest parks, where families and their little ones come together for a day filled with excitement and laughter. Vickers Park transforms into a magical wonderland, with lively music and smiling faces everywhere you look. Bring along your favourite stuffed animal to share in the adventures.

Live on the Waterfront
Live on the Waterfront is one of Thunder Bay’s most highly anticipated summer events! This vibrant and lively gathering brings together locals, visitors, and music enthusiasts to enjoy a magical evening of live entertainment, community spirit, and scenic beauty.
Come out every Wednesday this summer from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Marina Park, starting on July 17th and join us for our Summer Send Off on August 28th and 29th!
