After School Programming

Girl Power

All girls between the ages of 10 and 14 can join us every Monday Night from 6 to 8pm for activities focusing on healthy choices, body imagine, physical activity and art. Swimming is an option each night so pack your swimsuit! Girl Power is a FREE program, but registration is required.  The next session of Girl Power will begin March 18!

Active Kids

Active Kids will be running every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8pm kids will participate in games, sports and fitness activities. Active Kids is a FREE program, but registration is required. The next sessions of Active Kids will begin March 19 & 21!

Creative Kids

Creative Kids is a program for kids ages 5 to 12 that runs every Wednesday night from 6 to 8 at the Canada Games Complex. This is a crafty program with each night full of art projects. Creative Kids is a FREE program, but registration is required. Come check it out! The next session of Creative Kids will begin March 20!

Youth Beginner Fitness

NEW! Youth Intro Fitness is a low impact, intro to fitness, instructional and guided class for youth ages 12-18 who want to learn how to do an exercise session using all components of fitness! It’s geared towards beginners with modifications provided! The next session of Youth Beginner Fitness will begin March 20! Fee: $45.

Adventurers Camp

4U Accessible Programming

This accessible programming is available for children & youth with disabilities, and is offered in a safe and supportive environment by trained staff. *These programs are registered by request. For more information on registration please email


FIT 4U is a program based on adaptable fitness & exercise, where participants can learn and about, and have opportunity to try out equipment, weights & more in a safe & supportive environment. Ages: 12-18


SWIM 4U is a supported swim that allows participants to enjoy the water! Ages: 6-12


SKATE 4U is an adaptable skateboarding program at Cinema 5 Skatepark where participants can learn the basics and have the opportunity to try skateboarding in a supportive environment.

Karate (Isshin Ryu)

Every Saturday we offer Karate Tots for the 4 to 6 year olds, Beginners & Yellow Stripes for kids that are 7 and up, and Advanced classes for kids 7 and up that have their Yellow Belt. The next session will begin March 23!

Tons of class offerings all day long! Start your day right with a 6am pump, mid-morning classes for the strongest seniors we know, high intensity 45 minute lunchtime sweats, and an evening full fitness for everyone!

Zumba® – Combines low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. A total workout, combining cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, and energy boost. Or try Zumba® Toning or Zumba® Step, same fun movements with an added challenge.

Chronic Disease Management Classes
We offer a variety of Chronic Disease Management Classes including Healthy Hearts, Fitness for Breath and many more! These programs require referrals. For more information follow the link below!

*The Personal Attendant for Leisure (PAL) Card is an identification card, which is issued to a person who has a disability. It allows the support person to enter a recreation facility for free. A support person can be a friend, family member or a paid worker.

Thunder Bay Diving Club offers recreational, pre-competitive and competitive programs for ages 6 and up (adults welcome).

No experience necessary!

Must have basic swimming skills and pass the Games Complex swim test.
