Thunder Bay Diving Club

Interested in getting your toes wet with a bit of a twist?

Diving is an aerial sport that combines the thrill of flipping with a love of water!

Thunder Bay Diving Club is 1 of only 10 clubs in Ontario that offers recreational and competitive programming for ages 6 years and up (adults welcome).  The recreational program focuses on fun while learning to dive and improving their skills in a supportive environment.  The competitive program offers more advanced skills, competing regionally, provincially and beyond.

Recreation Program – no experience necessary!

Must have basic swimming skills and pass the Canada Games Complex swim test.

Classes in the Recreation Program focus on foundational skills and learning different dives in a fun, team-focused atmosphere.

Pre-Competitive / Competitive Program – by invitation only

The pre-competitive / competitive divers join this program after developing skills in the recreation program, as past divers, or from other sports like gymnastics, karate, dance, or figure skating.

These divers focus on developing the skills and dives suitable for competing at different levels and represent our club at hosted and away meets.

Interest in the pre-competitive / competitive program can be directed to:  coach@tbdc.ca
