Whether you’re a seasoned improviser or a curious newcomer, we invite all adults (18+) to come together and share the joy of improv comedy.
We meet Sunday evenings (excluding some holidays) from 7pm to 9pm at Cambrian Players Theatre. It’s the perfect time to let loose, play games, and practice your improv skills.

Join one of Thunder Bay’s leading cultural dance groups and experience the beauty, energy, and tradition of Ukrainian dance. With dancers ranging from toddlers to adults, Chaban brings together community, culture, and creativity in a welcoming environment for all skill levels. No previous dance experience is required — just a desire to learn and have fun!
Dancers perform throughout the season at Chaban’s annual spring concert, Folklore Festival, and other exciting community events and performances.

The Grandview Recreational Hockey Association (GRHA) gives youth the opportunity to learn the game, build their skills and make lasting friendships in a fun, safe and supportive environment.
Our recreational league focuses on participation, skill development and sportsmanship rather than standings and scoring. Players receive equal ice time, play a variety of positions and are matched with others of similar ability.

Mario’s Bowl offers youth bowling programs for all skill levels and experience levels. Equipment is provided at no extra cost, and certified instructors help bowlers learn, improve and have fun along the way.

Argentine Tango – Milonguero Style
Discover the music, connection and atmosphere of Buenos Aires through Argentine Tango!
This six-week course introduces Milonguero-style Tango, an improvisational dance built around the Tango walk and movements designed to flow naturally around the dance floor. Learn skills you can take with you to Tango communities and social dances around the world.

Thunder Bay Artistic Swimming
Dive into something different!
Thunder Bay Artistic Swimming is Northwestern Ontario’s only recreational and competitive artistic swimming club, offering programs for swimmers ages 5 and up. With experienced coaches and a welcoming, community-focused environment, athletes can build swimming skills, confidence, strength and friendships.
AquaGO! – Ages 5+
A fun introduction to swimming and artistic swimming! Participants will learn fundamental aquatic skills through jumping, rolling, spinning, twisting and more — all while becoming more confident in the water.
Mondays | 6:00–7:30 pm
Season: September–April
Fee: $790
Teen Recreational Program
Part swimming, part dance and part gymnastics, artistic swimming gives teens the chance to learn routines, develop aquatic and athletic skills, and be part of a supportive team environment.
Athletes learn to perform movements and routines to music — without ever touching the bottom of the pool!
Mondays | 6:00–7:30 pm
Season: September–April
Fee: $790
Approximately 35 hours of instruction are included in each program.

Thunder Bay Wolves Basketball
Thunder Bay Wolves Basketball gives girls the opportunity to build their skills, compete, make connections and grow their love for the game in a positive, supportive environment.
The not-for-profit club offers teams for players ages 12–19, with a focus on skill development, teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and having fun along the way.
Travel teams compete locally and at tournaments across Minnesota, Manitoba and Southern Ontario, giving athletes the chance to challenge themselves and experience basketball at a higher level.
Coaches follow the Canada Basketball Long Term Athlete Development Model, using game-based learning, progressive skill development and positive coaching to help every player improve and feel valued.

Wanting a little bit more for your athlete? Call and ask how to be part of about our amazing Ultimate Team, competitive and pre-competitive programs. Athletes can choose to train anywhere from 1.5 hours all the way up to 20 hours weekly. Competitions are in the US currently but that could change. We treat your athlete with dignity, respect and fairness. There’s no shame in training “outside the box”. If you are NOT at Ultimate, quite simply…YOU’RE NOT!
Our coaching team is the friendliest, most welcoming and encouraging in the entire region. We also offer the brightest, cleanest facility anywhere and we STAND BY THAT HANDS DOWN! We know…because we hear it all the time. We love hearing how clean our bright air-conditioned facility is.

Upriver Running
Upriver Running Fall Races
Since 2017, the Upriver Running Fall Races have brought Thunder Bay’s running community together for a day of trails, challenge and connection.
With 10 km, 25 km and 50 km trail races, plus a 2.5 km Kids Trail Run, there’s an option for first-time trail runners, experienced racers and families alike. The courses showcase some of Thunder Bay’s beautiful single-track trails in a supportive, community-focused atmosphere.
Every finisher receives a medal, with awards presented to top finishers in the 10 km, 25 km and 50 km events. 🏅

Zorya Ukrainian Dancers are excited to welcome you! Join us as we celebrate our 30th year of dancing success!
Become part of our Zorya family – a welcoming community devoted to nurturing Ukrainian heritage through dance, language and traditional customs. You do not need to be Ukrainian to learn and enjoy the fun and dance – everyone is welcome! Classes are available for all skill levels and ages from 4 to adult.
Zorya Dancers performed at Folklorama 2026 at the Ukraine Kyiv Pavilion in Winnipeg. Now, they are back and have set the pace for an exciting year ahead! This season, we can’t wait to build on that momentum, celebrating our 30th Anniversary. Exciting events are ahead for you!
- Opportunities for all age levels to perform: St. Nicholas Concert, Folklore Festival, Year-end Concert at the TBCA, and more are being planned to connect, celebrate and dance together!

Thunder Bay Diving Club
Interested in getting your toes wet with a bit of a twist?
Diving is an aerial sport that combines the thrill of flipping with a love of water!
Thunder Bay Diving Club is 1 of only 10 clubs in Ontario that offers recreational and competitive programming. The recreational program focuses on fun while learning to dive and improving their skills in a supportive environment. The competitive program offers more advanced skills, competing regionally, provincially and beyond.
Dryland
A recreational program designed for those who want to try diving without getting wet. It is composed of acrobatic activities, including jumping, tumbling, trampoline, and our dryland diving board. All focused on fun and exercise! Ages 4-8.
Learn to Dive – no experience necessary!
Ages 7 and up; adults welcome!
Must have basic swimming skills and pass the Canada Games Complex swim test.
Classes focus on foundational skills and learning different dives in a fun, team-focused atmosphere.
Pre-competitive
The pre-competitive program allows divers to build the skills required to join the competitive program. Designed for divers with experience in the Learn to Dive program or from other sports like gymnastics, karate, dance, or figure skating.
Competitive – by invitation only
Competitive divers focus on developing the skills and dives suitable for competing at different levels and represent our club at hosted and away meets.
