Celebrate summer at Fort William Historical Park! Our new fun and exciting day camp themes will allow you to find the adventure that fits your child’s interests. Enjoy an experience you will never forget. Travel back in time to Fort William in the 1800s, explore the historic Kaministiquia River by canoe, discover local plants and animals, visit the Anishinaabe Encampment, and more!
Voyageur Discovery Camp
Learn about French, Scottish and Anishinaabe cultures and lifestyles during the fur trade from Fort William’s inhabitants.
Ages: 8–9
Dates: July 14-18 | August 18-22
Cost: $150 (5 days)
Young Interpreter Program
Become a historic Fort William character from 1815! Learn in-depth skills for interpreting history, crafting various artisan items, interacting with visitors, and many more valuable skills. An assigned Fort William mentor will support you during this experiential journey.

Dates: July 21-25 | August 5-8

Skills of the Fur Trade
Campers will learn more advanced fur trade era skills including learning an artisan trade, cooking a historic food dish, and other skills important to keeping Fort William running.

Dates: July 28 – August 1

Robots, Bricks and Toys
Curious minds will enjoy a week of fun as they learn about new ways to build objects, the history of toys, work as a team on a shared project, and more.
